Fiera di San Giuseppe (Festival of San Giuseppe)
The largest fair in the Municipality of La Spezia with hundreds of food and wine products and other products in the area of the sea promenade.

Historical procession with flag wavers and musicians who parade around the central streets. In Piazza Cavour the opening of a giant Easter egg and distribution of small chocolate eggs to children.

Festa della Birra (Beer festival)
From 7pm onwards in Val Bardine there will be an amusing appointment for all beer lovers, who will also be able to taste dishes of the typical gastronomy and listen to live music.

04/07 - 06/07 Lerici
Sagra marinara di Sant’Erasmo (Festival of Saint Erasmus)
On Friday, starting from the Oratory of S. Rocco, the statue of Saint Erasmus is transported in procession by the Marinai d’Italia (Italian seamen). On Saturday there is fish in the square offered by the fishermen of Lerici, placing of the floating lights in the sea and a procession culminating in a firework display in the Gulf of Lerici. On Sunday a religious ceremony in honour of those who died at sea.

An evening spent in gaiety awaits you among the food and drink stands and the ballroom dancing.

Pioero Fest
Among the hills of the Lunigiana a Beer Festival is organised on German lines. Dancing, folklore and music between one mug and another, to spend an evening simply on amusement!

Another gastronomic appointment from 7pm on in Valle Bardine, where the local products are joined by music and dancing.

Sagra della polenta, capra, cinghiale (Festival of polenta,  goat,  wild boar)
From 7pm there will be the festival of polenta, goat and wild boar, in a warm atmosphere all cheered by the live music of an orchestra.

Festa patronale di San Lorenzo (Festival of San Lorenzo)
Amid the music played by the orchestra the village patron saint’s day of San Lorenzo will be celebrated.

10/08 Riomaggiore
Festa di San Lorenzo (Festival of San Lorenzo)
The festivities envisage the night-time procession and the blessing of the sea, which is lit up by hundreds of floating lights left by the faithful.

13/08 Gragnola
Festa di S. Ippolito e San Cassiano (Festival of San Ippolito and San Cassiano)
From 5pm there is a non-competitive run, while from 9pm the Garassi orchestra will begin the evening of ballroom dancing. Last but not least a firework display at the striking of midnight.

At the ex furnace of Monzone there will be the celebrated festival of sport and this will be followed by food and wine and an evening of dancing starting from 7pm.

Festa di San Fedele (Festival of San Fedele)
Religious festival with stalls and a fair preceded by a historical procession at a time still to be decided. Exhibition of ancient hand made products in cotton, linen and hemp with lace and old photographs in the Rossi oratory.

The traditional fair of the Madonna della Guardia is held at the Cisa pass.

Sagra della castagna (Chestnut festival)
The tasting of sweet chestnuts is organised in Soliera. It’s also possible to taste local typical products based on chestnuts such as mondine, cian, frodon, tagliatelle di castagne, castagnaccio and pan martino. All of this animated by the handicraft market.
